PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing capable of preventing an outer ring from rotating within a housing when the bearing rotates. SOLUTION: A needle roller bearing 21 as the roller bearing includes the outer ring 22 having outer ring members 22a, 22b split by a split line extending the axially in the bearing and also includes needle rollers 23 as rollers arranged along a raceway surface of the outer ring 22. The outer ring member 22a is in a shape of a semicircle with the central angle of 180°and keeps a radially outwardly bent engagement claw 22c located at one end in the circumference.
