PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To close a fuel cut-off valve 10 at a stable fuel level even if a lateral wave occurs on the fuel in a fuel tank while supplying a fuel. SOLUTION: The fuel cut-off valve 10 includes a casing body 30 forming a valve chamber 30S, a bottom plate 35 at the bottom of the casing body 30, and a floating mechanism 50. The casing 20 includes a communication hole 32a allowing the inside of a fuel tank FT to communicate with the valve chamber 30S. The communication hole 32a quickly introduces a fuel into the valve chamber 30S when closed by the fuel in the fuel tank FT, and the floating mechanism 50 is raised to close the a connection passage 31b. The bottom plate 35 has a wave breaking member 36 disposed on the outside of the casing body 30 at predetermined intervals to be opposed to the communication hole 32a. The wave breaking member 36 is so formed that the lateral wave on the fuel in the fuel tank FT does not directly move toward the communication hole 32a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
