PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire enabling visual recognition of a tire temperature state by changing the color due to ambient temperature and heat generation caused by traveling and easily obtaining tire characteristics. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire 1, coating including a temperature-sensitive color-changing material of which color is reversibly changed due to temperature change is applied on a tread surface 4 and vulcanized and formed to form color identification lines 2 and color printing 3. Preferably, the coating comprises a rubber composition including temperature-sensitive color-changing microcapsules with, as encapsulated therein, a temperature-sensitive color-changing component of which color may reversibly change with temperature change and a rubber component and obtained by directly mixing and dispersing the microcapsules in the rubber component.
