Provided is flexible machining facility using sub-pallets, which can quickly satisfy specification requirements for increasing/decreasing units. The machining facilities are constituted to comprise a machine tool (1) having a pallet exchanging device (47) for exchanging a main pallet (39), a plurality of sub-pallets (3) for mounting works, planning stations (5) for placing the sub-pallets (3) thereon and for mounting and demounting the works on and from the sub-pallets (3), sub-pallet stockers (7) for stocking the sub-pallets (3) thereon; and a sub-pallet transfer device (9) disposed to contain the machine tool (1) and the sub-pallet placing unit of the planning stations (5) and the sub-pallet stockers (7) within a workable area and adapted to transfer the sub-pallets (3). The machining facility can transfer and machine the work by using the sub-pallets (3).
