<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank capable of attaining efficiency of energy for fuel filling and waste liquid recovery and easiness of handling. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel tank for storing a hydrogen storage material and a product produced by a dehydrogenation reaction of the hydrogen storage material has a tank outer sheath; a fuel chamber for storing the hydrogen storage material; and a waste chamber for storing the product. The fuel chamber and the waste chamber are separated by a partition wall capable of varying a volume ratio of the fuel chamber and the waste chamber, and valves are provided on pipes provided on the fuel chamber and the waste chamber.
