<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray which can reduce its original volume and a container using the tray at the time of returning of the empty tray and container after conveyance of transported goods is completed. <P>SOLUTION: In the tray 10 in which a plurality of trays are detachably stored in the container 50 which conveys the transported goods and the transported goods are stored by vertically piling up at least at two stages, the tray 10 comprises an intermediate bottom plate 42 corresponding to a bottom plate of the transported goods which are stored at an upper stage of the tray 10, and partition plates 30 and 40 which are formed at a half height or less of the height of the tray 10 and partition the transported goods at a separated state or designated collecting state, which are arranged along the bottom plate 12 of the tray 10 and intermediate bottom plate 42.
