<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device or the like having high safety in the discharge lamp lighting device having an electrolytic capacitor. <P>SOLUTION: A case of the discharge lamp lighting device is covered on a circuit board on which electric circuit parts including the electrolytic capacitor are mounted. This is equipped with a resin injection port in order to place the circuit board and to inject a resin onto the upper face of the case to be covered on it, and equipped with a barrier rib between this resin injection port and the top part of the electrolytic capacitor. By the barrier rib, the device has a structure of forming an independent space without entering of the resin at least on the top part and surroundings of the top part of the electrolytic capacitor, when the resin is injected from the resin injection port. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
