<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve real time performance by controlling the writing and erasure of a nonvolatile memory under the program control of the sub-CPU of a nonvolatile control unit, and to shorten the execution start time of a user program stored in a nonvolatile memory by a main CPU. <P>SOLUTION: A microcomputer 1 is provided with a nonvolatile memory 4, a controller 5 and a main CPU 2. The writing or erasure of the nonvolatile memory 4 is executed by the control program of a sub CPU(FCPU) 12 of the controller 5. The transfer of a writing/erasure control program from the nonvolatile memory 4 to the control RAM 15 is executed by any of the controllers 11 and 30 and the FCPU 12 which respond to the request of the main CPU 2 so that it is possible to shorten the execution start time of the user program of the nonvolatile memory 4 by the main CPU 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
