<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical printing head capable of suppressing increase in working man-hour for a distance adjusting work. <P>SOLUTION: This LED printing head (optical printing head) 80 includes an LED array 3, a lens array 5 for focusing a light emitted from the LED array 3 on a photo-conductor 50, and a distance adjusting member 7 for simultaneously adjusting a distance L1 between the LED array 3 and the lens array 5 and determining a distance L3 between the LED array 3 and the photo-conductor 50. The distance adjusting member 7 is constituted of a four knot parallel linking mechanism in which all the distances between knots are equal and is arranged so that a straight line 56 connecting a first knot 7b and a second knot 7c is vertical to the LED array 3. In addition, the first knot 7b is arranged at the LED array 3 side and fixed.
