DATA CARRIER AND DATA CARRIER SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data carrier which can perform communication with both of a reader/writer devices using a short range type command and a reader/writer device using a proximity type command.

SOLUTION: Both of a command for short range communication for performing short range communication with a reader/writer device and a command for proximity communication for performing proximity communication with the reader/writer device are held in a command holding means. Both of the short range communication and the proximity communication are enabled to be performed according to the use mode by generating a reply signal using a command for short range communication when a question is asked using a command for short range communication from a reader/writer device, and generating a reply signal using a command for proximity communication when a question is asked using a command for proximity communication.
