PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cut-off propulsion structure of a pit mouth in propulsion work by which an excavator body and a buried pipe can be supported in a slidable manner after an excavation cutter passes through a pit mouth. SOLUTION: In the propulsion work in which an excavator 6 and buried pipes connected to it in sequence are driven, through a cut-off rubber 12 mounted on a cut-off pit mouth part 10 fitted to a pit mouth opened in a starting shaft, to an arrival pit mouth for laying underground, in a state that the excavator 6 is inserted into the cut-off pit mouth part 10, a frame body 17 surrounding an outer periphery of a body of the excavator is fitted to a rear end of the cut-off pit mouth part 10, and a curing material (ready-mixed concrete) 20 is filled in a hollow part 18 between the excavator 6 and the frame body 17 so that a supporting part 21 may be formed.
