PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a FCC (fluid catalytic cracking) catalyst, in which the solid content of FCC catalyst slurry is increased drastically, and simultaneously the antifriction property and activity of the FCC catalyst are ensured before the FCC catalyst slurry is sprayed in order to improve the manufacturing efficiency of the FCC catalyst and reduce not only an energy consumption but also an energy cost. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the FCC catalyst comprises the steps of: preparing the FCC catalyst slurry by agitating molecular sieve slurry, pseudoboehmite, clay, an inorganic acid and an aluminum-containing binder until they are distributed homogeneously; and spray-drying the prepared FCC catalyst slurry. The inorganic acid is added before pseudoboehmite is added, molecular sieve is added after the inorganic acid is added and a phosphatic dispersant is added in the middle of the step of preparing the FCC catalyst slurry. As a result, the viscosity of the FCC catalyst slurry can be decreased and the fluidity of the FCC catalyst slurry can be improved while ensuring the satisfactory antifriction property of the FCC catalyst.
