<p>A mixture for the manufacture of the under layer of double-layer magnesite bond floors consists of fibrous, thread-shaped and granulated materials interspersed with granulated rubber particles, said materials being obtained by tearing of the thread and fabric fillings of fabric filled rubber scrap products such as tyres, bound by magnesite and magnesium chloride lye. Asbestos fibre, micaceous dust, paper dust, wood powder, asbestos powder, quartz powder, and talc may also be added. In an example, 1 part of calcined magnesite is added to 8-10 parts of the filled and magnesium chloride lye added to produce a paste.</p> |
