An antenna device comprises a bar antenna (5) in which a coil (3) is wound around a ferrite bar (2) and a case (11) for supporting the bar antenna (5). The case (11) includes two side wall parts (11a) the surfaces of which face each other, and recessed parts (11b) for securing the case to a circuit board in a manner that they bridge the circuit board. The bar antenna (5) is disposed in a region between the two side wall parts (11a).
