An auto line selection apparatus using an ID card is provided to check a country code using the ID card and generate a DTMF(Dual Tone MultiFrequency) suitable for the telephone network of a corresponding country, thereby preventing malfunction and a wrong call caused by the difference between telephone network systems of countries. An auto line selection apparatus is installed between a telephone and a telephone line to dial automatically telephone numbers composed of a business access number, a PIN(Private Identification Number) number, and the telephone number of a correspondent country. The auto line selection apparatus reads the telephone information from an ID(Identification) card(111) and checks a country code included in the telephone number, and adjusts the telephone number to be identical with the DTMF of a correspondent country telephone network and the duration and duty rate of the DTMF to generate a DTMF(Dual Tone MultiFrequency). |
