CONTENTS DISTRIBUTION METHOD FOR SESSION MOBILITY SUPPORT IN CONTENTS DISTRIBUTED NETWORK SYSTEM

A contents distribution method for session mobility support in a contents distributed network system is provided to divide and manage files in a predetermined size of the unit for session mobility support and transmit the files from a necessary part according to the size of the unit, thereby supporting the session mobility by utilizing effectively the limited storage space of streaming servers. A contents distribution method for session mobility support in a contents distributed network system comprises the following steps of: receiving a contents request signal from a user terminal according to session movement for a streaming service to the user terminal; checking the contents of each streaming server according to the transmitted contents request signal; determining a streaming server to transmit corresponding contents and redirecting the contents request signal to the determined streaming server; and transmitting the rest of contents files(313,315) except contents files(312,314) pretranstmitted from the streaming server(310) in a predetermined file unit and providing the streaming service to the user terminal(320).
