<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electric lamp for a bicycle allowing the tilt of irradiation to be simply corrected in response to the angle of a handlebar so that horizontal illuminance can be ensured even when the handlebar of the bicycle with the portable electric lamp attached thereto is variously tilted. <P>SOLUTION: This portable electric lamp for a bicycle is composed of: a cylindrical body case provided with a front opening and a back opening; a front base screwed to the front opening of the body case, having a reflector pressed and fitted therein, and having a lens, an LED and a radiator plate housed therein; a battery unit having a switch lighting the LED and a battery, and inserted into the body case; and a battery lid equipped with an elastic material cover operating the switch, and screwed to the back opening of the body case.
