CELL STRUCTURE OF FUEL CELL, AND FUEL CELL STACK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell structure of a fuel cell and a fuel cell stack in which a fastening bolt and sealing components or the like are dispensed with for fastening fuel cell members of a lamination body and a contact resistance can be reduced by applying a stable fastening pressure on a whole of these surfaces and its size can be made smaller.

SOLUTION: The cell structure of a fuel cell is composed of a structure where an electrolyte membrane 17 on both sides of which reaction layers 18, 19 are formed and a fuel cell member containing at least members for a gas diffusing 20, 41 and current collecting when power is generated are laminated on an electrode substrate 39 to extract power. The electrode base plate is provided with a passage 31 or a closed space formed inside the electrode substrate for applying the surface pressure by filling fuel gas as a structural part for applying a surface pressure on the fuel cell member.
