<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device with a paper discharge tray arranged on a casing so as to be smoothly slidable. <P>SOLUTION: The paper discharge tray 5 of the image forming device is slidably arranged on the lower part of the casing 6 in the longitudinal direction. On the upper face of the paper discharge tray 5, a protruded portion 5c is provided which abuts on a rib portion 6a erected from the casing 6 toward the paper discharge tray 5. Near the upper end of the protruded portion 5c, a roller is provided which is turnably journaled to the rib portion 6a in abutting relation. On the rear side of the rib portion 6, a grooved portion 6b is formed into which the roller 5d can be fitted. The paper discharge tray 5 is smoothly slidable in the state that the roller 5d abuts on the rib portion 6a. A site where the roller 5d and the rib portion 6a contact each other less wears in spite of repetitive sliding operation, and a feel of clicking less weakens to be transmitted to a user operating the paper discharge tray 5 with the roller 5d fitted into the grooved portion 6d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
