PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve tire performance such as braking performance by uniformalizing ground-contact pressure distribution against an ice and snow road surface at low temperature and a dry road surface at high temperature. SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire including a block 16 partitioned by grooves 12, 14 provided on a tread surface, the block 16 is formed of a block center part 20 and block side surface part 22 surrounding the center part. The block side surface part 22 is made of rubber having larger change in the Young's modulus than the block center part 20 has. It is preferable that the Young's modulus of the block side surface part 22 is larger than that of the block center part 20 at -5°C and smaller than that of the block center part 20 at 23°C.
