PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery for an electric reel designed to improve safety. SOLUTION: The battery 1 for the electric reel is equipped with a battery body 4, a first external electrode terminal 5 and a second external electrode terminal 6 and an on/off switch 95. The first external electrode terminal 5 and the second external electrode terminal 6 are provided in the battery body 4.
