PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery excellent in safety and productivity. SOLUTION: The nonaqueous secondary battery is provided with a laminated electrode body with a cathode sheet made of a layer containing a cathode active material formed on a cathode collector and an anode sheet made of a layer containing an anode active material formed on an anode collector laminated through a separator. The separator includes a rectangular nonwoven fabric made of a material with a melting point of 200°C or more, and a rectangular porous film made of a material with a melting point of 140°C or less. The rectangular nonwoven fabric is arranged on both sides of the cathode sheet in the separator. The nonwoven fabric of a lower side of the cathode sheet and that of an upper side are fixed at least at three sides, and the rectangular porous film in the separator is fixed at its one side on at least one side of the rectangular nonwoven fabric arranged on both sides of the cathode sheet.
