PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control unit improved in accuracy of a detection signal by suppressing vibration of a plurality of cable cores for transmitting the detection signal therethrough to prevent generation of noise with the vibration, and having a connection structure of a plurality of cables; and an engine equipped with the electronic control unit. SOLUTION: This electronic control unit has the connection structure of cables composed such that a plurality of cable cores connected to cable connection ports of a connector fixed on a board are bundled into a multicore cable on the board. The electronic control unit is characterized in that the connection structure is composed by covering a part between a connection part of the plurality of cable cores to the connector and the multicore cable with a heat shrinkable tube in a form capable of restraining the relative movement of the plurality of cable cores.
