PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb time lag between time for separate processing and time for application processing based on time of moving image data. SOLUTION: A reproduction apparatus 100 is equipped with; a separate processing part 10 which separates data which is obtained by multiplexing moving image data and application data; a reproduction processing part 12 which decodes the moving image data; an application processing part 18 which processes application data; an output synthesizing part 20 which synthesizes decoded moving image data and processed application data and generates an output image. The separation processing part 10 inquires the application processing part 18 whether the application data is required. If a notice that application data is required is received, the application data is stored in the application processing part 18.
