PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sandbag having large compression yield strength, and applicable to a permanent earth structure. SOLUTION: This sandbag 1 is formed by filling sediment 12 in a bag body 2. The inside of the bag body 2 is partitioned into a plurality of chambers 10 by a partition wall 8, and the sediment 12 is filled in the respective chambers 10 so that the respective chambers 10 become thinner than the bag body 2. The bag body 2 is formed in a hollow trapezoidal shape composed of an upper surface sheet part 3 and an under surface sheet part 4 oppositely arranged in the vertical direction, a front face sheet part 5 and a rear surface sheet part 6 oppositely arranged in the longitudinal direction, and a pair of side surface sheet parts 7 and 7 oppositely arranged in the side direction. The hollow inside is partitioned into the plurality of chambers 10 in the vertical direction by the partition wall 8, and the sediment 12 is respectively filled in the respective chambers 10.
