PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a sliding door handle in which a plurality of operating members are not exposed to the outside, and which allows a user to use the same finger when opening/closing operation is carried out and locking/unlocking operation is carried out. SOLUTION: The sliding door handle is formed of a hooked dead bolt, a gear, an ascending/descending rack, a trigger 53, and a handle 65. The hooked dead bolt is rotatably arranged inside the opening/closing tip 21 of a sliding door 19. The gear is formed at the hooked dead bolt. The ascending/descending rack is engageable with the gear. A trigger 53 is arranged inside the opening/closing tip 21 in a manner of being protrudable from/withdrawable into a butt end, and inhibits the ascending/descending rack from moving when protruded from the butt end, while cancels the inhibition of the movement of the ascending/descending rack when withdrawn into the sliding door. The handle 65 is formed of a first rotating member 67 having one end thereof rotatably supported by a stile 23 of the opening/closing tip 21 via a support shaft, and a second rotating member having one end thereof rotatably connected to the other end of the first rotating member 67 via a connection shaft and the other end thereof rotatably engaged with the ascending/descending rack. The handle is further composed of a bent portion which is bendable into an L-figure with the connection shaft as a center, and when the bent portion is bent, the handle protrudes from the stile 23 by a predetermined amount.
