PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breathable exterior-wall material having a heat shielding function, a heat insulating function, a moisture discharge function, an air discharge function, an anti-dew-condensation function, a waterproof function, etc. SOLUTION: In this vertically-stuck breathable exterior-wall material A, a synthetic resin foam C1 is used as a core material C, and a cavity A1 is formed on the backside. The exterior-wall material A is formed in such a shape that the working width W of the exterior-wall material A corresponds to a pitch P of a skeleton 3, and a groove D1 is vertically formed on the backside of the exterior-wall material A which is brought into contact with wall base sheetα.
