PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine provided with pressure detectors, which precisely grasps the outputs of the pressure detectors even in the case where the temperatures of the pressure detectors vary owing to the temperature rise of the peripheral parts and the surrounding environment, and also to provide a control method of the injection molding machine. SOLUTION: The injection molding machine 1 having the pressure detectors 35, 48, 87 is furnished with: a storage part that stores the relationships of set pressure values, the temperatures of the pressure detectors 35, 48, 87 and the output values of the pressure detectors; and the temperature detection parts 114 that detect the temperatures of the pressure detectors 35, 48, 87. From the temperatures detected by the temperature detection parts 114, using the relationships stored in the storage part, the output values of the pressure detectors 35, 48, 87 are compensated to calculate the compensated pressure values.
