PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dog collar and a lead enabling the sensing of the load applied to a leather belt by the pulling force of a dog by the owner as a load applied to the handle at the base end of the lead when the lead connected to an extensible belt is pulled by the dog, thereby reducing the load applied to the neck (throat) of the dog. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a dog collar and a lead connected to the dog collar. A handle attached to the base end of the lead has a ring form and contains a flat spring material. A part of the handle at the lead end is opened in a freely closeable manner. An attaching tool to quickly attach the handle is attached to both ends of the handle.
