An operation lever for a vehicle seat is installed on the front side, the top side, or the rear side of the seat (1) including a seat cushion (2) and a seatback (3). The operation lever has a first lever (30) and a second lever (40). The first lever (30) and the second lever (40) are supported on each other at one end in the longitudinal direction of each of the first and second levers (30, 40) so that the levers are rotatable relative to each other. The other end in the longitudinal direction of the first lever (30) is rotatably supported on the seat (1) and is connected through a wire to a lock mechanism capable of changing the attitudeof the seat (1). The other end in the longitudinal direction of the second lever (40) is formed as an operating part (43). When the operating part (43) of the second lever (40) is operated in the direction in which the lever (40) is away from the seat (1), the attitude of the seat (1) is changed while the first lever (30) is bent in two stages about the pivots (21, 23) at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the first lever (30).
