PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure cleaning performance for at least heated residual toner on a rotary member and to suppress occurrence of noise. SOLUTION: The cleaning device 2 targets, as an object to be cleaned, the residual toner on the heated rotary member 1 whose surface part temperature is held above ambient temperature and below the fusion temperature of toner, and is equipped with a flexible member 3 which is arranged in contact with the heated rotary member 1 in the rotating direction of the heated rotary member 1 at least during cleaning and scrapes the residual toner at a cleaning position, and a pair of support members 4 (4a, 4b) which are provided apart from the heated rotary member 1 and clamp a base part 3a of the flexible member 3. The lengthwise bending rigidity of the support members 4 is set relative to the base 3a of the flexible member 3 to such an extent that vibrations which may cause the generation of noise are suppressed.
