PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and surely validating the functions of each apparatus by one license key even in an apparatus composed of a plurality of apparatuses. SOLUTION: The apparatus 10 composed of the plurality of apparatuses and capable of validating a prescribed function of the first apparatus 11 out of the plurality of apparatuses by a first license key distributed by a licenser 20, includes a key input means 13a and a key generation means 11b. A second license key is generated by the first license key and the inherent information of the second apparatus 12 out of the plurality of apparatuses.
