PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct exposure nonuniformity caused by the structure of a focal plane shutter having a front curtain and a rear curtain. SOLUTION: A digital camera includes: an imaging element 20 for acquiring an image by imaging a subject; the focal plane shutter having the front curtain 191 and the rear curtain 192; and a correcting means 206 for correcting the exposure nonuniformity in the image which is generated in the travelling direction of the focal plane shutter based on at least one of values among a diaphragm, a shutter speed, the imaging sensitivity of the imaging element 20, and an emission pupil position, on position relation between the front and rear curtains 191, 192 with respect to an optical axial direction, and on the travelling direction of the front and rear curtains 191, 192.
