PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to accurately form a bright low-beam light distribution pattern for a projector type headlight for a vehicle by cutting short a longitudinal length of a lighting tool. SOLUTION: First of all, a light source 14a is structured as a line-segment light source extended in a car-width direction, and a first additional reflector 32 is provided at a lower part of a reflector 16, in front of which, second additional reflectors 34, 34A, 34B are provided, with a diffusion lens 40 provided in further front. At that time, a reflecting face 32a of the first additional reflector 32 is structured in a paraboloid of rotation with an axis line Ax2 extended diagonally downward front as an axis, and reflecting faces 34Aa, 34Ba, 34Ca of the second reflectors 34, 34A, 34B is structured in an inclined plane extended diagonally downward front at a downward angle of inclination of a little more than half of the axis line Ax2, whereby, light from the light source is made reflected as a parallel light.
