PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the looseness of a set screw in a rolling bearing, the inner race of which is assembled on a shaft by means of the set screw in the state of a clearance fit. SOLUTION: A cylindrical member 6 having a thickness thinner than the fitting clearance between the inner race 1 and the shaft A is fitted in the inner race 1 such that its outer peripheral surface comes into close contact with the inner peripheral surface of the inner race 1. As a result, the fitting clearance is reduced, and the set screw 5 is hardly loosened. Further, the cylindrical member 6 has the outside diameter larger than the inside diameter of the inner race, and its one portion in the circumference is cut off. As a result, the cylindrical member 6 can be simply assembled by utilizing an elastic restoring force only by fitting it in the inner peripheral surface of the inner race 1 by reducing its diameter within its elastic range. Further, a mounting hole 6a has been formed on the cylindrical member 6 so as to pass the set screw 5 therethrough, and a projection 6b has been formed around the mounting hole 6a so as to be fitted into the screw hole 1c of the inner race 1.
