PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable automatic adjustment of operation of a hydroelectric generator during suspension of a water supply channel without monitoring water level in a water tank by a worker, and improvement reliability and efficiency of work inside of the channel and the water tank. SOLUTION: In control of operation of an operating hydroelectric generator 8 in a hydraulic power plant having the channel 1 for hydraulic power generation, a control part 9 provided on the water tank 2 connected to the channel 1, controlling operation of the hydroelectric generator 8 based on water level reference values for normal operation and water supply suspension operation and water level data acquired detecting water level in the water tank 2 is provided, normal operation mode is established to the control part 9 during normal operation of the hydroelectric generator 8 and normal operation mode is removed and water supply suspension operation mode is established to the control part 9 during water supply suspension operation of the hydroelectric generator 8.
