PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method capable of conveniently and precisely measuring the diameters of the inside and the outside and the thickness of a tube. SOLUTION: The method of measuring the sectional diameter and the thickness of a tube is to determine the diameters of the inside and the outside and the thickness of the tube by calculating by the use of the information edge positions for the diameters of the inside and the outside of the tube that is recognized by irradiating the tube from a radioactive source and measuring strength the radiation that penetrates the tube.
