PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a charge/discharge current by performing two-point correction irrespective of a simplified circuit structure. SOLUTION: A method of detecting the charge/discharge current for vehicle includes a current sensor 3 for outputting a voltage corresponding to the charge/discharge current of a battery 1, an electronic circuit 4 connected to the output side of the current sensor 3, and an A/D converter 5 connected to the output side of the electronic circuit 4. The electronic circuit 4 outputs an intermediate set voltage with the charge/discharge current made 0 A, outputs a detection voltage higher than the set voltage with the charge/discharge current on the plus side detected, and outputs a detection voltage lower than the set voltage with the charge/discharge current on the minus side detected. Further, in this detection method, a detected current of the A/D converter 5 is corrected in a first correction state wherein a voltage input into the A/D converter 5 is made 0 V with the supply of a power source voltage to the electronic circuit 4 stopped, and in a second correction state wherein the set voltage is input into the A/D converter 5 with the charge/discharge current made 0 A by inputting the source voltage into the electronic circuit 4.
