PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a sensitivity difference between each detection image acquired relative to each transmission beam, even if a plurality of transmission beams are formed continuously, for example, in a horizontal/vertical complex mode. SOLUTION: This underwater detection device for performing underwater detection by transmission/reception of beams is characterized by being equipped with a vibrator for transmitting successively transmission beams to the number of N having each different transmission frequency, a transmission amplifier for amplifying a transmission signal for driving the vibrator, a capacitor for accumulating the power necessary for amplifying the transmission signal by the transmission amplifier, a filter for extracting each reception signal in each frequency component corresponding to each transmission frequency of the transmission beams to the number of N, and a gain correction part for correcting a gain of the reception signal corresponding to the M-th transmission beam based on a capacitor voltage when transmitting the first transmission beam and a capacitor voltage when transmitting the M-th transmission beam.
