PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing without causing damage by electric erosion on a raceway surface of a bearing ring and a surface of a rolling body, without using a conductive seal, without applying special insulation processing, while using a general steel material for the bearing ring and the rolling body. SOLUTION: A cross-sectional shape of raceway grooves 12 and 14 of an inner race 11 and an outer race 13 of a deep groove ball bearing 10, is formed in a circular arc shape, and a groove diameter of the raceway grooves 12 and 14 is set to 50.1% to 51.9% of a diameter of a ball 16. Among the inner race 11, the outer race 13 and the ball 16, at least one is constituted of alloy steel including carbon by 0.35 mass% to 1.2 mass%, chrome by 1 mass% to 5.5 mass%, manganese by 0.1 mass% to 2 mass% and silicon by 0.5 mass% to 2 mass%.
