PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a vehicle seat applicable to both of a seat lifter of manual specifications and a seat lifter of motor specifications by a common frame. SOLUTION: The one side cushion side frame 23 of a seat cushion frame is assembled into a box shape by planar side frame members 25 and 26 on the inner side and outer side, the lock unit 49 of the brake unit of a manual seat lifter 16 or a power seat lifter 17 is incorporated, and a main shaft 50 of the lock unit 49 is made to project to the outer side frame surface 28 of the planar side frame member 25 on the inner side. The pumping unit and lever of the manual seat lifter 16 or the motor and gear of the power seat lifter 17 are connected to the lock unit 49 and attached to the outer side frame surface 30 of the one side cushion side frame 23 by an attaching bracket in a common shape.
