PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning member made of recycled sponge, which reuses a scrap material derived from wasted sponge products, unnecessary sponge products or the like, and is excellent in cleaning capability. SOLUTION: Chips 1a obtained by grinding melamine sponge 1 are combined with urethane binder 3 of the same weight as that of the chips 1a or more, preferably, of 100-150% by weight ratio, and then, a cleaning member made of recycled sponge is formed.
