PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine preventing easy clogging of lint or the like in a circulation pump. SOLUTION: This drum type washing machine 1 includes a housing 10, an outer tub 20 disposed in the housing 10 and storing wash water or rinse water, a drum tub 30 rotatably provided in the outer tub 20 coaxially with the outer tub 20, and the circulation pump 40 disposed at the lower part of the outer tub 20 and circulating the wash water or the rinse water, and the rotary shaft of the drum tub 30 is oblique. A suction part 20b for the wash water or the rinse water from the outer tub 20 to the circulation pump 40 is disposed at the lower part of the outer tub 20 and a jet port 46a for the wash water or the rinse water jetted to the inside of the drum tub 30 by the operation of the circulation pump 40 is disposed below the center of an inlet of the drum tub 30.
