The system (1) has a sensor (2) for detecting relevant road user e.g. pedestrian and cyclist, located in the surrounding of a vehicle e.g. passenger car, by radar technology, where the system is arranged for determining and reproducing a complex traffic conditions based on the detected relevant road user. A display (3) e.g. LCD display and head-up display, represents the traffic conditions, and is arranged in the central field of vision of a driver. The system is connected to a satellite positioning system (4), and a data memory (5) stores a digital map.
