<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molecule, including IgG, non-IgG immunoglobulin, a protein and a non-protein substance, that have increased in vivo half-life. <P>SOLUTION: The IgG constant domain, or the portion thereof that binds the FcRn, has one or more amino acid modifications that increase the affinity of the constant domain or an FcRn-binding fragment with the FcRn.
