METHOD FOR PRODUCING HYDROCARBON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which the yield of wax can be increased when a hydrocarbon is produced by a reductive reaction of carbon monoxide.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the hydrocarbon comprises the following steps. a first step of reacting the carbon monoxide with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst and a cooling solvent using a fixed bed reactor and producing the hydrocarbon and a second step of separating the reaction mixture obtained in the first step into water, an oil and a gas. An oil having≥120°C boiling point in the oil separated in the second step as the cooling solvent is fed to the first step.
