<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of attaining low electric power consumption in a microcomputer. <P>SOLUTION: This microcomputer is provided with a CPU 101 operated by an internal electric power source 1, and a holding RAM 104 operated by an internal electric power source 2. The microcomputer has a usual operation mode supplying the internal electric power source 1 and the internal electric power source 2 to operate a clock of the CPU 101, a sleep mode or software standing-by mode supplying the internal electric power source 1 and the internal electric power source 2 to stop the clock of the CPU 101, and a deep standing-by mode blocking the internal electric power source 1 and supplying the internal electric power source 2 to stop the clock of the CPU 101. The microcomputer is provided with an address switch 102 for selecting a boot address when restored from the deep standing-by mode to the usual operation mode, one side of the selected boot address is a ROM 114 connected to an outside, and the other side is the holding RAM 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
