PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress transfer of error data, effectively use radio transmission resources and to allow re-transmission control synchronized with scheduling of the re-transmission control by a transmitting station concerning a re-transmission control method and a relay station device in a relation communication system. SOLUTION: An error check of received data DATA #1-#4 is performed in the relay station RS, transfer of the DATA #4 with an error to a receiving station MS is stopped, and control information #1 is rewritten to control information #2 and transmitted to the receiving station MS. A response signal NACK #4 to the DATA #4 with the error is generated and held in the relay station RS, added to a response signal from the receiving station MS and transmitted to a transmitting station BS. Since vacancy is generated in radio resources for not transferring the DATA #4 with the error to the receiving station MS and for not transmitting the response signal of the DATA #4 from the receiving station MS, the radio resources are assigned to other normal DATA #1-#3 to effectively use the radio resources.
