PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of speedily moving a diaphragm blade on the small diaphragm side and also capable of restraining vibration of the diaphragm blade on the open side. SOLUTION: According to a difference between the actual position and target position of the diaphragm blade, a drive control signal representing an amount by which the diaphragm blade is driven is output. By inputting the drive control signal to a band variable LPF, a drive signal for the diaphragm blade is generated. The band variable LPF, differs in a frequency band to be blocked according to the position of the diaphragm blade. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
