PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent nonspecific agglutination and nonspecific reaction in measurement, by improving a development solvent used in an immunochromatography, and thereby to carry out the measurement with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The development solvent for the immunochromatography of the present invention contains a polymer having a phosphoryl choline group in a buffer solution. The polymer is preferably contained at 0.005-0.3 w/v% of concentration, and has preferably 40,000 or more of number average molecular weight. The polymer preferably contains 2-metacryloyl-oxyethyl phosphoryl choline as a constitutive monomer, and may be a homopolymer thereof or a copolymer thereof with a hydrophobic ethylene unsaturated monomer.
